To pull the board up It must be released by pressing on the plastic catch.microsoft-mouse-58269-6 

 

 

 

 

 

The board comes free.microsoft-mouse-58269-7  The switches can be desoldered to recuperate.  The encoder LED and the detector must be removed with their PC board piece to save some future work.
